The dental assistant, Thomas, was kind and very helpful. The hygienist was also very kind. Great people, great place.
I had a dental emergency last week but didn’t really have a steady dentist to call. After calling around to a few places, the team at Embark Dental was able to see me on the same day and work 1 on 1 with me to see that I got the best care for my chipped tooth. Dr. Marc & Thomas answered every one of my questions and even checked up on me over the weekend (when they were closed). They will immediately be the preferred dentist for my family moving forward.
Michael was super awesome! So was the front desk girl. This is the first time I had been to the dentist in a long time, and they made me feel safe and happy after my visit. I’m finally getting my smile back!

Dr. Marc got me in when I was in extreme pain and didn’t have a local dentist. Since then, he has resolved two dental issues and will remain my dentist going forward! I had put my dental health on the back burner for a few years and came to Embark Dental on a slightly emergent situation. After speaking with Dr Marc on the phone, he saw me the next morning in the office and had a plan to fix my problem teeth. He did a root canal and two crowns on my teeth. I am extremely pleased with the outcome from all my dental work. Jeanette at the front desk explained all the costs, and I feel it was very reasonable. My first visit to Embark Dental was a wonderful experience, from the front desk at check in to the check-out process. All the staff are very friend and caring folks. My assistant today was Thomas, and he has so much heart. He makes sure that you are informed through the visit on what going on and answers and welcomes all questions you may have. Very polite, great chair-side manner, and interacts with the provider well. Dr. Gonzales is very friendly and makes you feel like family. He has the most updated technology, so patients can better understand their dental needs and concerns. It’s nice to see your x-rays while they are going over everything with you and pointing out areas of concerns. Understanding is easier when you can see. I had a cleaning today, and I did not feel rushed at my appointment. I feel like he took his time and did a thorough job on getting my teeth cleaned. Before I left, both Thomas and Dr. Gonzalez made sure that I got my next appointments scheduled, so I don’t get behind on my cleanings and made sure that all my questions and concerns were answered. Embark Dental is the best! Hands down the best dentist office I have been to. The staff is extremely personable, kind, and thorough. The doctor put high-quality pictures of each of my teeth on the screen, so I could see everything he was seeing individually, and he took the time to answer every question I had! Michael is a very experienced and polite hygienist who stayed late to do my cleaning and took the time to explain what he was doing every step of the way. While the building is beautiful and they offer delicious caffeine options, the wonderful staff is truly what makes this dental office stand out!

I did a lot of research before making an appointment. I wanted a dentist who was a grad of a top school. Dr. G fit the bill. His office is high tech and has a very professional staff. Dr. G explains everything clearly and answers questions confidently. Thomas, and now Kaitlin, are the assistants I have met. I have been to dentists in six states, and I would rate this a 10+.
It was right in the middle of the holidays, and an old root canal and crown took a turn for the worse with a massive infection. I had been in excruciating pain in the deepest depths of despair, not knowing what to do without a dentist or one that was even open for that matter. I struggled through tears and pain, scrolling through emergency dentists. I found Embark Dental. Something told me to call. I called and was unsuccessful with no answer. But only minutes later, to my surprise, my phone rang with Dr. Marc Gonzalez on the caller ID. I answered “hello” and in that moment when he asked for me, I knew that HE was going to be my saving grace. Dr. Gonzalez had been in Charlotte and was heading back to Asheville that day. He told me that he would help right away and set up an appointment for me the very next morning. He helped me despite my financial setbacks. He treated me like a human being and not a number. I felt safe and comfortable during the entire procedure. We even shared some laughs after it was all done. The best dental experience I’ve had, bar none, especially as a severe emergency case. Dr. Marc scheduled me on a holiday and after hours to make sure I could get the care I needed as quickly as possible. I really appreciated how transparent he was with the entire procedure. From the beginning, he explained what needed to happen and talked me through it, and at the end, he was able to show me photos of the entire process. Even with top-of-the-line equipment, the costs are reasonable as far as dentistry is concerned. For a week, I had been battling an infection, knowing it was possibly one or more of my wisdom teeth. I woke after a week of antibiotics and had severe pain! I knew I couldn’t wait any longer. But where can I go?! From the moment I began calling all dental places around town, I was no closer to help until I called Embark Dental. They immediately put me on the schedule for t that day, and within 1 hour, I was leaving, 3 teeth down but so, so much better!! Dr. Gonzalez and his team, Jeanette and Thomas, were absolutely phenomenal! When I arrived, Jeanette and I were speaking just like old friends would; she was so calming and friendly. She even came back to my exam room to share her technique to calm my anxiousness down, and it worked. But for her to take her time and come help me was so amazing. And Thomas was so polite, spoke calmly, and worked very well with Dr. Gonzalez while having the procedure done. He was very informative and reassuring through the whole process. As for Dr. Gonzalez, he knows his practice very well. He spoke to me professionally, let me know each step that he was going to take before doing so, took extreme caution in making sure I was pain-free before beginning, and if I needed a moment or felt any kind of pain, he would stop immediately and help me get comfortable again, which only happened one time, and I believe I got into my head about it, but he did everything he could to make me comfortable! No one says, “I love going to the dentist,” but after today, I love going to the dentist, as long as that dentist is at Embark Dental. I haven’t always taken the greatest care of my teeth, but now that I’ve found Dr. Gonzalez and his amazing team, I will not hunt for another place to go, and I look forward to coming back and getting my mouth fixed up for good! I recommend this dentist to anyone and have already made my phone calls telling everyone how amazing it was! Embark Dental is it!

I understand firsthand how difficult it can be to find an honest and reliable dentist, so I wanted to share my experience with Marc and the team at Embark Dental. Last Thursday, I developed an infection in my gums and decided I was going to move on from my primary dentist and seek a new practice. I reached out to Embark Dental Thursday morning to discuss my situation. They worked me in first thing the next morning to at least look at it and take care of the pain. Marc reached out throughout the weekend on his personal time to check on me and see how I was doing. He scheduled me for a root canal the following Tuesday. Within an hour of me being there, the root canal was completed, and I was on my way. Thankful and impressed with the service I received from Marc and his team. One happy customer here!
